The Department of Foreign Affairs of the Philippines announced on January 15 that, effective from January 16, 2026, Chinese citizens may enter the Philippines visa-free for a maximum stay of 14 days. This policy applies exclusively to travelers entering through Manila and Cebu airports, and the 14-day stay period cannot be extended.
The Department of Foreign Affairs of the Philippines stated: "This measure aligns with the President's directives to promote trade, investment, and tourism, as well as strengthen people-to-people exchanges between the two countries."
