Hellowuhan Recruitment Assistant Push: Up to 1 Million RMB Relocation Allowance! 2025 Special Recruitment Announcement for Distinguished Teachers and Principals in Wuhan East Lake High-Tech Development Zone.

In accordance with the Regulations on the Personnel Management of Public Institutions and relevant provisions on special recruitment of staff for public institutions in Wuhan, Wuhan East Lake High-Tech Development Zone intends to publicly recruit 20 master teachers and school principals from the society.


Recruitment Positions

(1) High School Master Principals 2 positions.

(2) Master Teachers (Total: 18), including:

  1. High School Master Teachers (8):

     1 each for Chinese, Mathematics, English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Politics, and History.
  2. Junior High School Master Teachers (5):

     1 each for Mathematics, English, Morality and Rule of Law, Physics, and History.
  3. Primary School Master Teachers (2):

     1 each for Chinese and Mathematics.
  4. High School Competition Coaches (3):

     1 for Mathematics and 2 for Physics.

Recruitment Qualifications

(1)Basic Requirements for All Applicants

  1. Hold Chinese citizenship, demonstrate firm political stance, support the leadership of the Communist Party of China and the socialist system, and have a passion for education.
  2. Abide by national laws and regulations and enjoy full civil rights.
  3. Possess professional ethics, integrity, and willingness to fulfill teachers' duties and comply with school discipline.
  4. Be physically and mentally healthy to perform educational and administrative roles.
  5. Hold valid teacher qualification certificates for the corresponding academic stage.
  6. Possess the required professional and technical titles for the position.
  7. Hold a bachelor’s degree or above.
  8. Age limits:
    • For Technical Level 7 positions: under 45 years old (born after January 1, 1979).
    • For Technical Level 10 positions: under 40 years old (born after January 1, 1984).
    • Exceptions:

    • Applicants with associate senior professional titles may be relaxed to 45 years old.
    • Those with the title "Provincial Special-Grade Teacher" may be relaxed to 50 years old (born after January 1, 1974).

(2)Ineligible Applicants
Applicants meeting any of the following criteria will not be considered:

  1. Convicted of criminal offenses or dismissed from public office.
  2. Under disciplinary investigation, judicial review, or audit.
  3. Currently under disciplinary sanctions (within the impact period).
  4. Active-duty military personnel or non-graduating full-time students.
  5. Unapproved by current employer to apply.
  6. Disqualified due to severe violations in civil service or public institution recruitment exams (within the integrity archives’ record period).
  7. Other circumstances prohibited by laws or regulations.

(3) Qualifications for "Master Teachers"
Current educators or researchers in schools/educational institutions must meet at least one of the following:

  • A-Class

    Provincial Special-Grade Teacher.
  • B-Class

    • National Model (Outstanding) Teacher.
    • Provincial Outstanding Contribution Young Expert, Provincial Special Allowance Expert, or Provincial Top Talent.
    • Provincial May 1st Labor Medal recipient (limited to winners of Provincial Primary/Secondary School Youth Teaching Competition).
    • Provincial-level backbone teacher, master teacher, or equivalent honors (excluding cultivation program recipients).
    • Senior Professional Title holder.
  • C-Class

    • Sub-provincial City Outstanding Contribution Young Expert, Special Allowance Expert, or Top Talent.
    • Sub-provincial City-level backbone teacher, master teacher, or discipline leader.
  • D-Class (Competition Coaches)

    • Guided students to win National Secondary School Subject Competition Provincial First Prize in the past 5 years.
    • Served as head coach for students entering Provincial Training Team (at least 1 instance).

(4) Qualifications for "Master Principals"
Current high school principals with ≥3 years of tenure must meet at least one of the following:

  1. National Model Teacher, Outstanding Worker, Outstanding Educator, Outstanding Headteacher, or backbone teacher.
  2. Provincial Outstanding Contribution Young Expert, Special Allowance Expert, Special-Grade Teacher, Master Principal (e.g., Outstanding Principal, Distinguished Principal), or backbone teacher.


Recruitment Procedures

(1) Position Inquiry

Details of recruitment positions and eligibility criteria are outlined in the 2025 Special Recruitment List for Distinguished Teachers and Principals in Wuhan East Lake High-Tech Development Zone. Applicants may review the information via the Wuhan Human Resources and Social Security Bureau’s official website, the Wuhan East Lake High-Tech Development Zone Government Portal, and the Guanggu Talent Network from July 2 to July 11, 2025.

(2) Online Application

Applicants must submit their applications through the Guanggu Talent Network (https://www.ovc-talent.com) under the "Job Search" section or via the "Guanggu Talent" WeChat mini-program between 9:00 on July 7, 2025, and 17:00 on July 11, 2025. Each applicant may apply for only one position. All submitted information must be authentic, accurate, complete, and valid. Fraudulent applications will be disqualified. Required uploads include ID card, teacher qualification certificate, graduation certificate, professional technical qualification certificate, and eligible honors/awards certificates.

(3) Qualification Review

The Education Bureau of East Lake High-Tech Development Zone, in conjunction with the District Human Resources Bureau, will conduct an initial review of applications. Qualified candidates will proceed to an on-site document verification prior to the assessment, where the authenticity of submitted materials will be verified.

(4) Comprehensive Assessment

No written examination is required; candidates will undergo a comprehensive assessment.

- Distinguished Teacher Positions: Assessments combine trial teaching and structured interviews, each scored on a 100-point scale. The final score is calculated as 50% trial teaching + 50% structured interview. Candidates with the highest composite scores advance to physical examinations and background checks. Ties are broken by trial teaching scores.

- Distinguished Principal Positions: Assessments include leaderless group discussions (or structured interviews if fewer than 4 applicants), competency speeches, and expert interviews, each scored on a 100-point scale. Scores are weighted as 40% group discussion/interview, 30% competency speech, and 30% expert interview. Candidates with the highest composite scores advance. Ties are broken by group discussion/interview scores.

A passing threshold will be announced prior to assessments for both categories.

(5) Physical Examination and Background Check

Physical examinations follow the Hubei Province Teacher Qualification Physical Examination Standards and Procedures. Procedures align with the 2025 Wuhan Public Institution Recruitment Announcement. Candidates must cooperate with requirements.

(6) Position Confirmation and Employment

Qualified candidates will undergo a 5-workday public notification period on the East Lake High-Tech Development Zone Government Portal and Guanggu Talent Network. No replacements will be made post-announcement. Successful candidates will sign a 10-year minimum service contract with the institution. Those unable to terminate existing labor/employment contracts with former employers by September 30, 2025, will forfeit eligibility.

Upon employment, candidates will initially be registered as "ungraded" technical positions. Following a probationary assessment, final position grading will align with the advertised role. Candidates previously employed in higher-grade positions and meeting East Lake High-Tech Zone’s qualification criteria may compete for original grade placement post-probation. Candidates ineligible for inter-jurisdictional title recognition or position appointment under Wuhan’s current policies will be appointed to lower grades based on district standards.


Benefits and Incentives

(1) Employment Benefits

Recruited distinguished teachers and principals will be enrolled in public institution establishment and enjoy the salary and welfare packages of in-service public school teachers. Provincial-level special-grade teachers are entitled to provincial special-grade teacher allowances as stipulated.

(2) Relocation Allowance

Distinguished principals and Category A distinguished teachers: RMB 1 million relocation allowance (RMB 800,000 issued as a one-time lump sum upon passing probationary assessment; RMB 200,000 redeemed via Optics Valley housing vouchers).

Category B distinguished teachers: RMB 500,000 relocation allowance (one-time lump sum upon passing probationary assessment).

Categories C & D distinguished teachers: RMB 300,000 relocation allowance (one-time lump sum upon passing probationary assessment).

All recipients must sign a minimum 10-year employment contract. Early termination within the 10-year service period will result in proportional deduction of the relocation allowance based on actual service duration. Existing contracted teachers in the district who are recruited will receive public institution establishment but are ineligible for relocation allowances.

(3) Housing Vouchers

In accordance with the Notice on Policies to Sustain Steady Development of East Lake High-Tech Development Zone’s Real Estate Market, recruited distinguished teachers and principals who purchase property in the zone by December 30, 2025, and meet eligibility criteria, may receive RMB 100,000 housing vouchers for senior professional titles and an additional RMB 50,000 housing vouchers for teachers.

(4) Spouse Employment Support

For recruited distinguished teachers whose spouses are also education professionals, the district will assist in arranging appropriate teaching positions as contract-based teachers in the zone, subject to performance evaluation.

(5) Education Support for Dependents

Assistance will be provided for enrolling dependents in compulsory education public schools within the zone.
